Well, I was GOING to write about the deliciousness that is Pizza Cups but I’m currently fighting with technology so, in the name of being flexible, I’m going to take a minute to let you all in on two awesome websites I’ve recently discovered instead. I promise I’ll get those Pizza Cups on here as soon as I conquer my nemesis. 🙂
As many of you may already know, I run an in-home daycare. It’s not the most glamorous of career choices but, because it lets me stay home with my kidos, the husband and I made a choice 7 years ago to accept some extra children into our home for the short term, AKA until my youngest goes to kindergarten. Because my formal education is in Early Childhood/Child Development I like to have a daily circle time as well as a few activities planned for each day. Thankfully Pinterest, and my Preschool Time board, has been HUGE in helping me accomplish this fairly easily as there are TONS of age appropriate activities available. In my searching I stumbled upon two AMAZING websites written by two moms who create fun and age appropriate printable activities on tons of subjects and provide ALL of it free of charge! I couldn’t believe it when I first found them, I kept waiting to be asked for credit card info but it never happened. They just ask to give credit where it is due and send people to their sites. So, that’s what I’m doing. 🙂
The second is This Reading Mama.
Both ladies have FREE printable ‘packs’ in more themes than I can even remember. They also offer other educational insight and if you follow them on Pinterest they find some of the best preschool ideas. I’ve been using their printables for about a month now and the kids love them and you definitely can’t beat free. So, if you’re looking for fun activities to do with your kids or use in an early childhood classroom be sure to check them out!
Happy Hump Day!
